MNNIT Alumni Sangam

Mission

The mission of MNNIT Alumni Sangam is to foster a professional and cultural network for MNNIT / MNREC's collective growth and presence worldwide.

Objectives

•	To provide a forum for professional networking
•	To Provide a platform for better communication amongst alumni
•	To Establish special interest professional and technical forums
•	To Provide a forum to mentor and assist members in career development / advancement
•	To Provide a forum for social networking
•	To Foster stronger relationship between alumnus and college
•	To Create platform for innovation and creativity at college as well as at the local chapters
•	To Create platform for entrepreneurship and business opportunities

Proposed Activities

•	Professional meetings with fellow alumnus
•	Technical presentations by fellow alumnus
•	Invite industry leaders to speak with alumnus
•	Job / career lead (especially hidden ones) exchange within the group
•	Social get-togethers with families
•	Organize programs for entertainment and fun
•	Fund raising to support infrastructure at college
•	Community service under alumni banner
•	Promote industry affiliation
•	Career counseling to current students or recent graduates

Frequency of Events

•	Meet on third Sunday of the month from 3:00pm – 5:00pm
•	Quarterly professional, technical, and networking events
•	One social event every year with alumni and their families
•	One large-scale professional event every year
