Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, formerly known as Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC), is one of India 's premier educational institutes, with a total commitment to quality and excellence in academics. It was established in 1961, as a joint enterprise of the Govt. of India and the Govt. of U.P., in accordance with the scheme of establishment of REC.
